So this blog, “Goals Setting”, has been my very first attempt to create a blog. I started not knowing how to do anything and am slowly learning how to do this. I know you think it may be pretty easy…either you are successful at getting people to your blog, or you have never really thought about it.
When I began this project a few months ago, I thought that it would be my “baby”, the one thing that I would enjoy the most to work on because I am so into goals and goals setting. My journey to where I am at now began about a year ago. I started my new year by reading Jack Canfield’s Success Principles and realized that I needed to change my life. From there I read more, listened to audio books, and watched PBS everytime someone like Robert Kiyosaki, Wayne Dyer, or Deepak Chopra was on.
Then I started listening to Brian Tracy who I think is such a major goals setting guru! I started this blog by highlighting a lot of his ideas about taking responsibility for your life first and realizing that we all have the power and potential to change our lives and that often the limitations we have in our lives are self imposed.
So what is my problem? What happened to this blog that I had such vision for? Somewhere along the way I got wrapped up in my other goals, although I failed to follow my own advice.
So I have decided that this blog is going to take a turn for the better! It now has its own domain name of Goals Setting and the content you will read from now on will be just that: good, solid content. Even if I only post a couple times a month, I want you to come here and read some information and ideas that will help you get to the next level of your life – to where you want to be.
I honestly believe that goal setting is a skill that can be learned and a habit that can be enforced. Brian Tracy said once that a bad habit is easy to have yet hard to live with and a good habit is hard to make, yet easy to live with.
Let’s go make some good habits together! Join me on my journey to successful goal setting!
